At their meeting on October 10, 2023, the City Council approved Ordinance 2023-150-2, 150-3 restricting the days and times when permissible fireworks can be used in the City of Laconia, and setting forth the penalty for violating the provisions of the Ordinance. It is unlawful for anyone in the City to ignite fireworks Monday through Thursday of any given week (with the exception of July 3 of each year and federal holidays). It is also unlawful to ignite fireworks past the hours of 10:00 pm until noon the following day, on Friday, Saturday or Sunday of any given week.
